The ground has been transformed in recent years, with some much needed investment. Not only has a new seated stand been constructed at the Prospect Road End, but the stadium has had a complete makeover to reflect the clubs blue colours (whereas the colours for the former Farnborough Town club were predominantly red).
On one side is the strange looking Charles Mortimore Stand (Main) Stand. It looks a little odd as one side of it looks different to the other side, as it was at some point it was extended. The stand comprises of covered seating (to the rear), some of which has been elevated above pitch level. There are a few supporting pillars along the front of the older side of the stand, whilst the newer side is obstruction free. The front portion of the stand contains uncovered seating and has the team dugouts integrated into it. The total length of the stand is around half the length of the pitch and hence that are small terraced areas to either side.
Opposite is a small covered stand, that runs for around 2/3rds the length of the pitch and again there are a number of supporting pillars running along the front of it. Originally this was a covered terrace, but was subsequently made all seated. Apparently it does not have an official name, although it does sit on the East side of the ground. One fan suggested to me that it was nicknamed the S.W.A.N Stand. Apparently S.W.A.N stands for Stand Without A Name!
At one end is the latest addition to the stadium, the Prospect Road End. Opened in 2011, this covered all seated stand has a capacity of 1,300. Comprising of 13 rows, it is quite a smart looking stand, with its high back wall and roof. There is not a supporting pillar in sight, meaning that spectators can enjoy a great view of the playing area. It also incorporates facilities for disabled supporters. At the other end of the ground is the Moor Road End, which is a terrace, with cover at the rear and open terrace to its front. If segregation is in place then this is where away fans are housed. Around 1,000 fans can be accommodated in this area. On one side is a is completely open, whilst the Prospect Road End is partly covered (behind the goal). On one side of the roof is a fair sized electric scoreboard. The ground has eight floodlight pylons, four of which run down each side.
In 2018 the Cherrywood Road ground was renamed the Easy As HGV Stadium in a corporate sponsorship deal.
Farnborough currently plays in the Southern League Premier Division South (Step 7 of the English Football League Pyramid).
There is a large just outside the ground that is popular with both home and away supporters and is aptly named the Cherrywood Bar. There is also a cafe on site too. Pete Hayes adds; 'There is a pub called the Thatched Cottage. It is on Prospect Road, about a ten minute walk away from ground going towards Farnborough Station. It serves good food and has real ales on tap.'

Leave the M3 at Junction 4 and take the A331 towards Farnborough. At the bottom of the slip road you will reach a roundabout where you take the exit towards Farnborough. Continue along this road for a short distance, ignoring the first turn off, but then taking the next turn off towards Farnborough (A325). At the top of the slip road you will reach a roundabout where you take the right hand exit towards Farnborough. Then straight across the next roundabout continuing towards Farnborough/Frimley.
At the next roundabout take the left hand filter lane continuing on the A325 (from this point Farnborough FC is signposted). You will pass a Shell Garage on your left and at the next set of traffic lights turn right into Prospect Avenue and then at the bottom of the Avenue take the 3rd exit at the roundabout into Cherrywood Road. Go straight across at the next roundabout and the entrance to the ground is a little further down on the right.
There is a small car park at the ground, which costs £2, otherwise there is plenty of street parking available.
Frimley Railway Station is the nearest to the ground, being around a 15 minute walk away. However, this station is on a local line and if you are coming from London Waterloo then you will end up instead at Farnborough Main station, which is around one and a half miles away from the ground (around a 25 minute walk away). It is probably best to jump in a taxi. If you do decide to walk then as you come out the station turn right along Union Street. At the end of Union Street turn right into Prospect Road. This road leads into Cherrywood Road for the ground.
