1. Why you were looking forward to going to the ground (or not as the case may be):

Although United were on a bit of a bad patch as ever we were confident we could go to the Hawthorns and get something. And also what we had seen of the ground it looked a smart ground and a ground we had not been to and also to follow the mighty blades.

2. How easy was your journey/finding the ground/car parking?

We decided to travel to this game on the supporters bus because of it being a night match but the journey was fairly straight forward and easy although we had to park around 10 minutes walk from the ground.

3. What you did before the game pub/chippy.... home fans friendly?

We were hungry before the game and we saw a McDonalds across from the ground as we passed it on the bus so we walked to there and we got talking to a few Albion fans there and they were very friendly and talkative. We then went for a walk around the ground although with it being a night match and not much time on our hands we didn't find much else to do so we just headed straight to the ground.

4. What you thought on seeing the ground, first impressions of away end then other sides of the ground?

First thoughts on seeing the ground was it was a very smart ground and wouldn't look out of place in the Premiership. When we got into the ground the concourse was fairly cramped for the amount of Blades fans that were there at that point. We then headed for our seats and the first sight of the pitch and the stands we amazing. Bigger than what it looked on the tv which it already looked big. Leg room between the seats was very reasonable compared to some grounds although we was near the back so we was stood throughout. The only downside to the ground was the stand to the left of the away end which looked very out of place with the 3 other big stands.

5. Comment on the game itself, atmosphere, stewards, pies, toilets etc..

The game itself was fairly dull although we had a few chances to score but the result was a 0-0 draw and the form that united were on that season we was pleased with the result. The atmosphere was great. United took a fair few fans down and West Brom packed the stadium and both fans were making a lot of noise which made the game enjoyable and a great experience.

6. Comment on getting away from the ground after the game:

Getting away from the ground was fairly easy we had a police escort back to the motorway but we had to walk down an alleyway at the back of the away end 1st of all to get back to the buses.

7. Summary of overall thoughts of the day out:

All in all a great result for the form we was in and the day/night was great and was money well spent and saw a very nice football stadium which would be worth visiting again.
