|What's The Corbett Sports Stadium Like?|
Itís a welcome return to Rhyl who last
were in the Welsh Premier League in
2009. Belle Vue is located in
the Southern suburbs of the town, around 10-15
minutes walk from the sea front and town centre.
Walking to the ground from the town centre along the
B5119 Grange Road the first thing you see on the
right hand side is a large white-washed wall in
front of a tarmaced car park, which forms the rear
of the Grange Road End. This wall bears the football
club name in bold black letters, reflecting the club
colours. The ground site itself
In 2013 the ground was renamed the
Corbett Sports Stadium in a corporate sponsorship
seating capacity was expanded to allow the club to
play European fixtures, and is consequently one of
the largest in the Premier League. Space is limited
on three sides of the ground however there is scope
to rebuild the Grange Road End but we are not aware
of any future plans.
far as we are aware there is no segregation at Belle
Vue apart from local derbies and the rivalry
with Bangor City. In this case visiting fans are allocated the George James Stand which is accessible from turnstiles to the far left of the Grange Road end.

Club has its own bar at the ground called the
Legends Lounge Bar, which welcomes away fans on
few minutes walk along Grange Road (in the
direction of the town centre) is the
Miillbank Inn, which is a Thwaites pub. In the town centre itself
on Sussex Street is a Wetherspoons pub. The
latter is listed in the CAMRA Good
Beer Guide. Othwerwise
there are plenty of pubs in the centre of
Rhyl which is about a ten minute walk

the Irish Republic. Because of this trains services
are frequent between 5am and 10pm. Rhyl can also be
reached by Arriva Train Wales South Wales-North

speaking Prestatyn Town are the nearest Premier
League rivals, just 3 miles way along the North
Wales coast.Colwyn Bay might be seen as a rival if
they didn't play in the English League Pyramid.Welsh
League Pyramid Clubs Llandudno, Conwy United &
Fllint Town United are also not too far away.
However the historic rivalry, and the game which
draws the biggest crowds, is with Bangor City
despite the two clubs being 35 miles apart.
