|What's The Damson Park Football Ground Like?|
|The ground is a very open
one and is mostly comprised of terracing. There is
some seating in front of the Social Club building
and up above has been constructed a viewing platform
for club officials and sponsors, which gives it a
strange look. At the Damson Lane End is a small
covered terrace, whilst the other two sides of the
ground are small open terraces. The ground is
situated very close to Birmingham Airport, so you
are ‘treated’ to a procession of planes taking off
throughout the afternoon.
Solihull Moors were formed after the amalgamation of Solihull Borough & Moor Green Football Clubs in 2007. Moor Green were force to leave their Moorlands Ground after their Main Stand was destroyed by fire.

a social club just outside the ground which
welcomes away supporters. The roof of the bar is
adorned with lots of football shirts, scarves and
pennants of previous visiting clubs. The Club
allow you to leave the ground at half time to
access the Club bar. There is even a television in
the lounge showing a live picture of the inside of
the stadium so that you can see when the teams
have come back out onto the pitch. Or if your team
is losing 5-0 then you may decide to stay in the

the M42 at Junction 6 and take the A45 towards
Birmingham. After around two miles, you will come to a
major set of traffic lights that has a Holiday Inn

Freight Cargo Terminal. Turn left at these lights
(Sign Posted, Land Rover/Damsonwood) into Damson

entrance to the Land Rover car plant. Go completely
around the roundabout to come back on your self. The
entrance to the ground is a short distance down on the
left. There is a fair sized car park at the ground
which is free.
