Looking Towards The
Shevington Road End & The Famous Grassy
Bank
A
Closer Look At The Famous Grassy Bank Note that when this photo
was taken, a fence was in place at the
rear of the terrace to prevent fans
standing on the grass bank behind. This at
one time didn't exist, so fans stood on
the grass too. This led to some comical
scenes especially if there had been heavy
rain.
Both pictures were taken by
Han at the last game to be played at Springfield
Park, against Manchester City.
