The ground was originally called Rosebery Park, but was renamed Christie Park
in 1928 after the then Club President, who secured the ground for the Club.

The final game played at Christie Park was on Thursday May 20th 2010.
League Two Play off semi final 2nd leg v Dagenham & Redbridge.
Morecambe won 2-1

The stadium was demolished shortly after the Club vacated and is now the site of a Sainsburys superstore.
