Brian Clough Statue Nottingham

Thanks to Eamonn McDonnell for supplying the above photo.

Brian Clough managed the Club for 18 years between 1975 & 1993 and presided over the Club's most successful spell in their history. During his reign two European Cups, a European Super Cup, a League Championship and 4 League Cups were all won.

The above statue was unveiled in November 2008, in the centre of Nottingham (at the junction of King & Queen Street) after a public appeal raised the money to pay for it. He passed away on 20th September 2004.

Another statue of 'Cloughie' stands in Albert Park, Middlesbrough, his home town and where he played for the Club, scoring 197 goals in just 213 appearances, between 1955-1961. If anyone can provide me of a photo of this statue then please e-mail me.
