Travelling by public transport in Northern Ireland?

For those looking to spend a few days in the country an “Oyster Card” style top up travel pass is available, valid on all Translink buses and trains across the county.

The iLink card costs:

Zone 1 Belfast area (1 Day £6.50, 1 Week £21.50)   
Zone 2 Belfast, Lisburn, Antrim, Carrickfergus (1 Day £10.50, 1 Week £36.50)
Zone 4 All of Northern Ireland (1 Day £16.50, 1 Week £56.50)

This can be purchased at:
Belfast City Airport welcome centre,
Belfast International Airport welcome centre
Belfast Welcome centre, Donegal Place, Belfast
Metro Kiosk, Donegal Square West Belfast
Main Translink bus or train stations

Or they can be purchased online from Translink.
