Mourneview Park

One of the best grounds in Northern Ireland. Mourneview Park is located in a residential area, close to the General Hospital, around one mile south of Lurgan town centre. Spectators enter the ground through the new entrance turnstiles and gates in Mourneview Avenue, following the demolition of the original white washed turnstile block in 2009.This leads to a car park and the rear of the main stand which has a
seating deck of 1,300 blue plastic seats on a concrete base raised two metres above pitch level. Every seat in this stand has an excellent elevated view of the playing action, and though the stand does have a number of columns they are narrow enough to not impede the view. To the right of the Main Stand, behind the goal is a covered terrace for home supporters which has been converted to seating, unusually
the seats start on the forth row of the former terrace, this is to allow spectators to see over the pitch dwarf wall whilst allowing access to facilities at the far corner of the ground. The stand also has a couple of columns but the low sturdy roof allows for a good atmosphere during games.    

Looking directly across the pitch there is a new all seater stand which replaced a low covered terrace a few year ago. The pitch length stand, currently used by away supporters, has 2,000 seats on a slightly raised concrete base, and a cantilever roof which offers an unrestricted view of the pitch. Mourneview Park benefits from a sturdy set of modern corner floodlights that are amongst the most powerful in the country. The three stands at present are all finished with the same deep blue roof panels and have a similar height, giving the ground a well balanced look and uniformed look.

The former away supporters open terrace at the Union Street end of the ground was demolished in 2009.The site has been cleared and is acting as a relief car park at the moment, however the club has plans to install a new stand at this end of the ground, it is uncertain whether the stand will be a temporary or permanent structure.

There is a Social Club at the ground. Otherwise the nearest pubs are to be found along Union street and the High street close to the railway station.

From Belfast & the South:
Exit the M1 Motorway at Junction 10,follow the A66 Lough Road over the railway level crossing, just past the church turn right into Edward Street, taking the A3 towards Craigavon. Take a left turn into Sloan Street, then a right turn into Union Street. The floodlights on your left hand side, take a left turn into Mourneview Avenue, the ground entrance is on the left hand side of the residential street.  
 
From Banbridge:
Take the A26 towards Lurgan Town Centre, at the Flush Place roundabout take a left turn into the B3 Gilford Road, then take a right into Pollock Drive. This residential street leads into Mourneview Avenue, the ground entrance will appear on the right hand side.
 
From Lisburn:
Take the A3 along Avenue Road into Lurgan Town Centre. At the Junction turn left into Flush Place, at the roundabout follow the B3 along Gilford Road. Turn right into Pollock Drive. This residential street leads into Mourneview Avenue, the ground entrance will appear on the right hand side.
 
Car Parking
There is a car park alongside Union Street, behind the away end.Supporters also park along Russell Drive, close to the Hospital.

New Stand

Lurgan Railway Station has a regular service from Bangor via Belfast Central but only the slow Newry and Portadown trains stop at the station. From the Railway station the ground is 15 minutes walk through the town centre, and 10 minutes walk from the town centre bus stops.
 
Local bus services from Banbridge,Portadown and Lisburn as well as Goldline Bus Service 251 from Belfast Europa Bus Centre to Armagh all stop in Lurgan High Street.  
 
Directions from Lurgan Railway Station:

Come out of the railway station on the ticket office platform, turn left and walk past the church into Market Street, this road merges into Lurgan High Street, with bus halts on either side of the road. From the High Street turn into Union Street. Continue along this road past the hospital, you should now see the floodlights ahead of you. Take a left turn into Mourneview Avenue. The entrance to the ground is in a residential area, on the left hand side.
