New Aberdeen Stadium - Construction To Start In June

It has been announced that works will commence in June 2018 on the building of a new club Academy, to be followed by a new 20,000 capacity stadium for the Club, after an agreement was signed with the local council, to progress the £50m development. The new Academy and stadium are to be built to the west of Aberdeen just off the A944 in the Westhill/Kingsford area. Pittodrie will be sold for housing development. It is likely that the new stadium will be ready for the start of the 2019/20 season.
