Wilf Mannion Statue
Riverside Stadium - Middlesbrough

Wilf Mannion made his debut for the Club in 1937 at just 18 years of age and was to remain at the Club until 1954. With his nlond hair he gained the nickname 'The Golden Boy.' Known as an entertaining player to watch with wonderful dribbling skills, he played mostly as an inside forward. He was also capped 26 time by by England.. He passed away in April 2000.
