Brian Clough Statue |

This impressive looking statue is located in Albert Park Middlesbrough. Brian Clough used to walk from his home in Valley Road, through the park, on his way to play for Middlesbrough at Ayresome Park. During his time at Middlesbrough (1955 - 1961) he scored 197 goals in 213 appearances, a phenomenal strike rate. During this time he was capped twice by England. His playing career was cut short at the age of 27 through injury. Special thanks to Chris Lee for providing the photos above. |
