Why you were looking forward to going to the
ground (or not as the case may be):
I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY TRIP TO THE BEAUTIFUL SEASIDE TOWN OF FLEETWOOD AS IVE NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE AND HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT.
2. How easy was your journey/finding the ground/car parking:
AS IT WAS BANK HOLIDAY THE TRAFFIC WAS MURDER ONCE WE CAME OFF THE MOTORWAY AT PRESTON SO THE LAST 10 MILES TOOK NEARLY AN HOUR APART FROM THAT IT WAS PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD.
3. What you did before the game pub/chippy.... home fans friendly?
WE HAD A WALK ROUND THE AREA AND ROUND THE GROUND. THE CHIPPY NEXT TO THE GROUND WAS CLOSED SO I BOUGHT A BOTTLE OF COKE FROM THE NEWSAGENTS NEXT DOOR. I WAS TALKING TO A STEWARD ON THE GATE AND COMMENTED ABOUT HOW WELL FLEETWOOD HAD DONE IN THE PAST FEW SEASONS.
4. What you thought on seeing the ground, first impressions of away end then other sides of the ground?
THE GROUND LOOKED QUITE IMPRESSIVE ALTHOUGH THE MAIN STAND IS CURRENTLY BEEN CONSTRUCTED. ONCE FINISHED IT WILL BE A TIDY GROUND.
5. Comment on the game itself, atmosphere, stewards, pies, toilets etc..
THE GAME WAS A DECENT GAME FOR BSP. THE STEWARDS AND FANS WERE FRIENDLY AND NEVER BOUGHT ANY FOOD. THE TOILETS WERE A PORTACABIN AND THE QUEUE WAS QUITE LONG AT ONE POINT.
6. Comment on getting away from the ground after the game:
TOOK A WHILE TO GET OUT OF FLEETWOOD AND BACK ONTO THE MOTORWAY BUT AS STATED PRVIOUSLY IT WAS BANK HOLIDAY SO WAS TO BE EXPECTED.
7. Summary of overall thoughts of the day out:
THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE DAY OUT AT A VERY FRIENDLY AND WELL RUN CLUB. WOULD DEFINTELY GO AGAIN AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE A FOOTBALL LEAGUE FIXTURE NEXT SEASON.
