1. Why you were looking forward to going to the ground (or not as the case may be):

I was looking forward to the game because I had never been to Dagenham's ground before. It was a chance to go to a new ground and tick them off my list.

2. How easy was your journey/finding the ground/car parking?

Our journey was fairly easy until we hit Dagenham. It was just under two and a half hours to get there but when we hit Dagenham it was extremely slow and added on another thirty minutes. Finding the ground was easy because I had someone who had been to the ground before with me but it was also well signposted.  We also found a great parking space just a couple of minutes walk away.

3. What you did before the game pub/chippy.... home fans friendly?

We were there for about 2pm. We had a bit of time on our hands, but as it was pretty cold we decided to sit in the car for twenty minutes. At first a lot of fans were walking past our cars and they all looked pretty chavy but they turned out to be okay and we had no problems.

4. What you thought on seeing the ground, first impressions of away end then other sides of the ground?

From the outside you couldn't see much, as the stands are quite low in height. I had bought my ticket in advance to save paying more on the day and bought it in the seated area where unfortunately our noisy lot were situated. The ground is pretty awful to of be honest, the back of the terraces behind the goal are wooden and the other side of the pitch was terrace as well. The main stand looked alright but we had to sit in a separate stand with a couple of pillars in the way.

5. Comment on the game itself, atmosphere, stewards, pies, toilets etc..

Going into the game Notts had just won 4-0 at Barnet and Dagenham were doing well near the top. From the start Notts looked woeful, rubbish and like they didn't want it at all. Well Dagenham ended up winning 6-1 and to make it worse it was absolutely freezing and the journey home seemed double the time it was meant to take. The atmosphere was pretty dull and you could understand considering how cold it was, the home support had their noisy lot opposite the Main Stand and sang every now and then but not loud enough to hear the full chant. The stewards were fine and they don't bother around a lot and really just let the fans try and enjoy the match. The food was quite nice actually and cheap because I had a pie for just £2 and the toilets are average.

6. Comment on getting away from the ground after the game:

Getting away from the ground was easy but we were stopped on our way by some fan from Dagenham who had a Tottenham shirt on with a Dagenham scarf, who gave us a bit of stick but there was no traffic getting away from the ground.

7. Summary of overall thoughts of the day out:

Overall it was probably one of my worst journeys yet and I would consider Dagenham trying to invest in a new ground or at least make the stands better.
