Craig Woodhead (Newcastle United)
24/05/09 |
'If the corners of the
stadium get developed, the ground will definately be placed as
one of the elite stadiums in the UK'.
|
Darren Pearson (Chelsea)
21/02/09
|
'Inside the ground the
atmosphere was electric....in the corner of the North stand where
the home fans were very close, there wasn’t even the usual line of
stewards separating!'
|
Clive Williams (Tottenham
Hotspur) 21/10/06 |
'The car parking facilities
were great, waste land, fenced and supervised cost only a £5 from
11.00am to 17.30pm and was a stones throw from the Cap and Gown
pub'. |
|
Tim Joyner (West Bromwich Albion)
9/04/06 |
'The facilities in the
Doug Ellis stand seating are good as is the view of the pitch and
legroom'. |
Patrick Reihill (Arsenal) 31/12/05 |
'There was no hostility from
the Villa fans in the city centre or around the ground so it was
quite pleasant really!' |
Martin Hart (Visiting
Scottish Fan) 2/10/05 |
'I took the short walk to the Cap 'n' Gown
pub on Witton Road. The best way to get
to the pub is to follow the crowd towards
the ground, you can't miss the pub over on the right hand
side'. |
Cole Fraser (Everton)
25/02/05 |
'Overall it was a great day, despite a couple of
minor things, and I will definitely visit Villa Park again in the
coming years'. |
Debbie Smaje (Everton)
26/2/05 |
'The atmosphere
in the away end was brilliant, another one with excellent
acoustics!' |
Christopher
Walker (England) 3/11/04 |
'The exterior I
found a little disappointing to be honest it was just, well
bland really. And not brilliantly lit up for a night
game'. |
Andrew Curl (Walsall)
22/9/04 |
'The Doug Ellis stand was probably my
favourite stand, as it looked the most standard!'
