Why you were looking forward to going to the ground (or not as the case may be)</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt" lang="EN-GB">:</span></font></b></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700" lang="EN-GB">I was looking forward to it as it was a chance to tick another ground off the 92</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">How easy was your journey/finding the ground/car parking?</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080"><b><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">We drove to our usual parking space in London <span lang="en-gb">(</span>Southfields<span lang="en-gb">)</span> and then got the tube across to Emirates took about 45 minutes to Finsbury park and was an easy journey to make<span lang="en-gb">.</span></span></font><font face="Arial" size="2"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">&nbsp;</span></font></b></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">What you did before the game pub/chippy.... home fans friendly?</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">We went to a pub called the Drayton <span lang="en-gb">A</span>rms <span lang="en-gb">near to the stadium. B</span>eer was reasonably priced and a good mixture of home<span lang="en-gb"> and</span> away fans<span lang="en-gb">. T</span>here was a shop next door and most people bought cans from there and then just drank them outside as it was a nice day<span lang="en-gb">. P</span>ub was a 5 minute walk from Arsenal station turn <span lang="en-gb">right</span> then left again and you ll see the stadium <span lang="en-gb">on the right and </span>the pub is opposite <span lang="en-gb">down on the left.</span>&nbsp;</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">What you thought on seeing the ground, first impressions of away end then other sides of the ground?&nbsp;</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">It looks absolutely huge from the outside and inside not much difference, was easy queuing system to get a beer <span lang="en-gb">(</span>pint of <span lang="en-gb">F</span>osters <span lang="en-gb">£</span>3.20 or <span lang="en-gb">J</span>ohn <span lang="en-gb">S</span>mith<span lang="en-gb">s,</span> price the same<span lang="en-gb">)</span> though they had ran out food at that particular at that kiosk but had them at other kiosks<span lang="en-gb">. S</span>eats were padded and excellent views from them, atmosphere wasn t great despite <span lang="en-gb">A</span>rsenal playing well and beating us easily, but the away fans generated a good noise&nbsp;</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">Comment on the game itself, atmosphere, stewards, pies, toilets etc.</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">Game itself Arsenal controlled from first minute to last with them running out 3-1 winners, the stewarding was fairly relaxed compared to some other ground I have visited but still didn t like <span lang="en-gb">our</span> fans standing but did allow <span lang="en-gb">in </span>the instruments that some of our fans had (drum, bugle and bell)<span lang="en-gb">.</span> <span lang="en-gb">T</span>oilets very nice wash your hands with hot water (slightly different to Fratton Park<span lang="en-gb">!</span>) &nbsp;</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">Comment on getting away from the ground after the game</span></font></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#000080" face="Verdana" size="2"> <span style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; font-weight:700">There was a queue still half an hour after the game to get on the tube (after we had a swift pint) although the queue moved quickly and seemed well organized<span lang="en-gb">.<br> </span><br> 7.
